I was working in Social Media Management and was fortunate enough to see growth very quickly. As my client base rapidly grew so did my to-do list, my client management "system" (ahem, there was no system😳) couldn´t keep up. I hated dealing with the financials and things were starting to unravel. I knew I had to get organized!
Out of sheer desperation, I started researching project management tools and operational strategies until I became somewhat of an expert.
I learned how to batch work, templatize anything I possibly could, create workflows and SOPs and categorize tasks by their level of impact. I tried every tool out there and in one year I tripled my revenue while creating more time and flexibility in my business than I ever thought possible. I outsourced more and more tasks that didn´t bring me joy and continued sharing my discoveries on Instagram.
I rapidly attracted attention from business owners seeking advice on how they could streamline and grow their businesses. Eventually, I reached a point where I was spending more time helping others than focusing on my own business.
